August 2019 - April 2023

Software Engineer at Marshmallow

At Marshmallow, I joined as engineer #5 and saw the company grow from less than 20 people to more than 300.

Over the course of almost 4 years, I played a crucial part in multiple novel products that shaped the direction of the company.

Notably, I helped evolve the Marshmallow mobile app from a hackathon proof-of-concept to a highly-rated 4.9-star platform, laying the groundwork for the backend driving the app and making it seamlessly integrated with our existing web application.

This paved the way for innovative extensions like Marshmallow Go, which rewards good drivers—a project for which I also laid the foundation.

Software Engineer at Wise

At Wise, I was hired at the end of the second year of my 4 year Computer Science MSc. Initially in Tallin as an intern for 3 months, then full-time in London.

I implemented public facing APIs serving banks like Monzo and N26, and migrated core pieces of functionality from a monolith to micro services.
